A Message from the Editor – July 2016

Market Common Community

I’m delighted that we’ve had such a positive response to the “Insider” right out of the gate, and that we are able to serve the Market Common Community in such a tangible way.

For the July edition of the “Insider,” we chose to capture the patriotic spirit that is birthing in the streets of our own community, and recognize the 4th of July with an article about the American Flag. We also decided for this edition, to highlight the Farmers Market. The Farmers Market on
DeVille Street compliments the community. It’s been an active part of the summer activities here at the Market Common for the past few years, and we felt like we needed to bring attention to it.

As we move forward in the creation of our new project, we want to hear from you, our reader, about how we’re doing and what you’d like to see in the next edition of the “Insider.” You are the
community we serve, and bringing you information that you want to hear is what we want
to do. You can also share your enthusiasm for the “Insider” by casting your vote for us with Grand Strand Happening for Best Media Production at bit.ly/VOTEinsider, Are you or someone you know doing something notable in our community? Send us ideas, submissions, suggestions, or questions to community@marketcommoninsider.com or drop by our office, 2876 Howard Avenue G, just to say hello. We’d love to meet you!
